Our design approach to residential design is very comfortable, very upscale, and very personal! We at Michelle Pheasant Design pride ourselves that we do not have a characteristic look or style. Instead, we create an interior that reflects the owner’s lifestyle and personal taste. We assist the client in establishing their personal living habits, preferences, and furniture needs to combine these elements into a design setting that is truly the client’s own individual statement. We favor a collaborative design process, one in which the client is enthusiastically involved. Our staff prefers to be involved on a new residence early on in the initial conceptual design by the architect and can assist in the development of space planning, architectural detailing, finish selections, and lighting at a preliminary stage. In the decorating phase, we are involved with the client in the selection of fabrics, furniture, decorative lighting and artwork that make up the major part of any residential job. We then develop a detailed cost estimate for the client's approval, and then follow through with ordering, expediting, and coordinating the installation of all of the client's furnishings in an efficient and timely manner. Whether furnishing a single room or designing an entire residence, our goal is to create warm and pleasurable surroundings reflective of the client’s needs and wants.
